Shakespeare Walla Walla was formed in 2009 as a 501(c)3. As a nonprofit organization all our proceeds go toward creating a strong organization that provides “the highest caliber Shakespeare performances in an enduring and sustainable manner” per our mission statement.
In addition, we present performances, concerts, and lectures that are not Shakespearian but are of interest to the communities we serve. We have an educational outreach component that brings not only drama and theatre arts to the region’s youth but also, music, dance, art, and theatre production. We provide scholarships to ensure any young person who wants to participate, can do so. Free admission to performances and presentations is available to deserving groups and individuals.
As you can imagine, this all comes at a cost which unfortunately cannot be covered by ticket revenues alone. Your support, whether through a tax-deductible donation, corporate sponsorship, or volunteering of your time, will be what keeps our performances and programs going.
